Back

First, thanks for stopping by and your interest in this new endeavor. We are really excited about the opportunity this brings.

Do you remember what it was like when you first began playing Vampire? Do you remember the mystery? Not able to continually rationalize what was going on in game with out of game knowledge? How about just coming to game, enjoying everything that happened, and walking away with another, "no shit, there I was...," tale?

So do we, and that's what we want to bring back.

This will take effort on all our part to bring our highest level of role-play and imagination. This will require each and every one of us to come to the table with our best intention and willingness to simply enjoy the ride. To that affect, we have drafted up declarations of principals for both the staff and the players of EotR in order to establish what is expected up front. Please take a moment to read them and if you think you're able to meet the standards we have set, welcome to what will hopefully be an intense role-playing experience.

We are hoping to have an official character creation and general questions session in May. It will either be the 1st or 3rd Saturday of the month, depending on what weekend we decide to regularly hold EotR.

Until our launch in June, this web site is going to be in a state of flux. We are currently examining options and layouts for the new web site that will meet the needs of our chronicle. I expect it won't be settled until April or May. Until then, we'll try to keep things as organized as possible as we add new information.

Now, on do the Declaration of Principles...

Everyone associated with EotR is challenged to establish and maintain a high level of quality and consistency for the betterment of the role-playing experience. In order to facilitate this activity, we have established these Declaration of Principles to publicly state our commitment to this ideal.

Declaration of Principles to be adhered to by the Staff of Innocents Lost: Hartford - EotR

We, the staff, believe that each player who comes to this game deserves the highest quality role-playing experience we can provide. To that end, we shall adhere to the following principles:

  1. We shall treat all players fairly and with the respect earned.
  2. We shall behave in a mature manner, using open communication with players whenever possible and appropriate.
  3. We shall mentor players according to their individual needs in order to provide the knowledge and appreciation for the genre and rules mechanics of the game.
  4. We shall have fun!

Declaration of Principles to be adhered to by Players of Innocents Lost: Hartford - EotR

In order to insure the maximum amount of enjoyment at EotR events, all players shall acknowledge and abide by these principles:

  1. All players shall behave in an adult and mature manner with each other and the staff.
  2. All players shall bring their highest level of role-playing quality to each character they portray in order to add value to the game as a whole.
  3. No player shall have an, "I win," mentality at the expense of another player.
  4. All players shall acknowledge that a player of a character is in no way related to the character they portray and the actions of that character to not reflect the feelings of the player.
  5. All players shall trust in the staff's intent to provide an enjoyable experience of personal horror for the character, understanding that events occurring to the character are not reflective of the staff's feelings towards the player.
  6. All players shall have fun!
